MJs Trading is proud to offer good quality products to our customers. We believe you will be fully satisfied with your purchase. However, if you have any concerns about the products you purchased, please contact us. We will response as soon as we can.

Change of Mind Return

Refund Eligibility
If you change your mind about your online purchase, we’re ready to assist with a refund, subject to the following conditions:

  • You must initiate the return within 7 calendar days of receiving the items.
  • The policy applies to both full price and sale items, excluding group-buy deals.
  • A restocking fee of $20 per item will be applied to account for inspection, repackaging, and restocking costs. Therefore, your refund will be the full value of the purchased goods minus the restocking fee.

To qualify for a return, ensure the following – condition of returned items:

  • The item is unused and undamaged.
  • Packaging and labeling remain intact.
  • The original packaging is in a condition that does not affect its resale potential.

Please ensure that you follow the correct process for initiating a return, as outlined in the “Initiating a Return” section, to qualify for this refund. This policy is an addition to any rights you may have under consumer laws.

Initiating a Return
To initiate a return due to a change of mind, please follow these steps:

  1. Visit our “Contact Us” page and submit a form. Select “There is a problem with my product” followed by “I want to return a product (change of mind return).”In your submission, include your reason for wanting to return the item and your purchase number.
  2. Upon reviewing your return request, we will provide you with the return address. Once the return is agreed upon, please include a note in your return parcel stating the reason for the return and your order number. This helps us process your return more efficiently.

Return Process

  • Return Shipping: You are responsible for the return shipping costs. It is also your responsibility to ensure the item is returned to us in a safe manner. We recommend using a trackable shipping service as we are not liable for items lost or damaged in transit.
  • Refund Processing: Refunds will be issued in the same form as the original payment. Please allow up to 14 days from the time we receive your return for the refund to be processed. Processing times may extend during busy sale periods.
  • Original Delivery Charges: Please note we do not refund the original delivery charges for change-of-mind returns.

Swapping or Exchange Items for Wrong Selection

You can exchange your item by returning it to us for a refund (item cost only) and repurchase the correct one you are after as long as our Change of Mind Return Policy is met.

Standard Shipping

Dispatch Time: Your product will be shipped out within 3 working days, once payment is collected and order is confirmed.

Delivery estimate: 1-4 business days. For non-rural, shoe box sized deliveries. Additional delay and charges apply for rural delivery, island delivery, dangerous goods and large packages.

Tracking Information: The tracking information will be sent to your email automatically by courier company once your parcel is picked up by courier. Please check your junk mail box for tracking info.

Standard Courier Service: We use NZ Post (Non-signature), NZ Courier (Signature), Post Haste and Daily Freight as our fixed courier, offering economy services for most of our products. Please contact us if you have special requirements. 

Shipping Fees for Oversized and Overweight Products: Shipping fees for oversized and overweight products will be quoted separately.

It is the responsibility of the customer to enter the correct postcode and select the proper shipping method (urban/rural) at checkout. Failure to do so may result in cancelation or a delivery fee application.

Free Shipping

MJs Trading offers free shipping on certain items. Unless specified on the product page, products qualified for free shipping will be shipped by one of our available freight options, which we determine. The current shipping carriers we use include NZ Post (Non-signature), NZ Courier (Signature), Post Haste and Daily Freight. MJs Trading reserve the right to choose the most suitable courier for your order, ensuring the best possible service and delivery times.
